Upgrade of App-based Pick-up

Travellers using App-Based transport have a new dedicated pick-up area which is fully undercover and a short walk south from the terminal.
To get there exit through Door G on Level 0, across the crossings and follow the walkway through the rental cars to the dedicated pick-up area at the southern end.
Wellington Airport was the first in New Zealand to welcome Uber in 2017. The upgrade to the ride-share drop off area is part of the $70 million investment in transport infrastructure including the multilevel car park and transport hub, undercover rental car area and expanded pick up and drop off zones. The improvements are part of making transport to and from the airport easy and convenient for travellers.
Passengers using App-Based transport are dropped off in the public drop-off area on Level 1.
