Gate changes at the airport

If you’re a regular traveller, you will have noticed we made some gate changes at the airport last year in response to Covid-19. We made these changes to maximise resources and facilitate travel while passenger numbers were lower than usual.

Now domestic travel is picking up again, from 4 February you’ll notice things are starting to get back to normal in the terminal and most domestic flights will arrive and depart from the gates you were used to. Air New Zealand’s regional lounge will reopen on weekdays from one hour before the first flight until the last departure, and Percival will also reopen every day from 6am-6pm.
